The Tashkent city administration presented an updated plan to improve traffic flow and reduce congestion in the capital.

According to reports, entry and exit posts to the city will be moved in the coming days. This measure is aimed at preventing traffic jams and facilitating traffic flow.

At the same time, separate lanes for buses - the BRT system - will be introduced. The new project will cover 10 streets and will have a total length of 51 kilometers, hokimlik.uz reported.

According to the plan presented to the President, the system will be built on Shota Rustaveli, Shakhrisabz, Amir Temur, Yangi Sergeli, Makhtumkuli, Mirzo Ulugbek - Feruza - Yuzirabad, Lutfi, Mukimi, Nuravshan, Karatash - Kukcha Darvoza, and Alisher Navoi - Beruni streets.

The project is planned to cost 126 million dollars. According to the khokimiyat, these changes will modernize the transport system and increase freedom of movement in the city.
