Preliminary forecasts for December have been released. Uzhydromet reported that December of this year is expected to be slightly warmer than normal. According to the data, the average monthly temperature in the first month of winter will be 1-1.5 degrees above normal.
In the first ten days, the air will remain warm, mainly at night 0-5°C, and during the day 10-15°C. In the second and third ten-day periods, the temperature will be more variable - from 2-7°C at night to 0-5°C, and during the day from 12-17°C to 2-7°C. The amount of precipitation is expected to be close to or less than the norm throughout the month.
By January, although the overall picture remains close to normal, the temperature in some areas will be slightly colder. In the first and second ten-day periods, the temperature will fluctuate within a wide range: at night from 3-8°C to 3-8°C, and during the day from 10-15°C to 2°C and 3°C. In the third ten-day period, sharp anomalous frosts are expected: in most regions at night 12-17 degrees below zero, during the day 5-10 degrees below zero. In the regions of Nukus and Urgench, the temperature may drop to 20-25 degrees at night.
February is expected to be close to long-term norms. In the first ten days, abnormal frosts will continue, at night 5-10 degrees below zero, during the day 3 degrees below zero and 2 degrees above zero. In the second and third ten-day periods, the air will noticeably warm up - from -2-7°C at night to 3-8°C, during the day from 0-5°C to 10-15°C. In the southern regions, daytime temperatures can reach 15-20 degrees, and February may again bring a spring mood.
