In order to more accurately monitor the state of atmospheric air in the city of Tashkent and timely identify sources of pollution, special mobile ecological laboratories have been established in all districts. This was reported by the National Committee for Ecology and Climate Change.
According to the committee, enhanced monitoring will be carried out in each district of the capital 24 hours a day. These laboratories are fully equipped by a specialized analytical control center in the field of environmental protection, which allows for real-time analysis of air composition.
One of them is currently operating near the "Turkiston" metro station in the Yunusabad district. The laboratory measures the amount of harmful substances in the air and provides prompt information about the sources of pollution.
It was also noted that the Ecology Committee has established a special headquarters to improve the environmental situation in the capital. In cooperation with the relevant agencies, the sources of damage are being identified, and necessary measures are being taken to eliminate them.
For information, as part of the ongoing work to improve air quality, it was previously reported that the Tashkent Thermal Power Plant, located in the Yakkasaray district, completely refused fuel oil.
