When do winter holidays start in schools?

The start of winter holidays in schools across Uzbekistan has been announced. According to the data, the winter holidays will begin on December 28 of this year. The Ministry of Preschool and School Education announced this decision.

Also, in accordance with the government decree adopted in 2017, winter holidays for all students of general education schools in the 2025-2026 academic year will begin on December 28. However, in elementary grades (1-4 grades), holidays begin on December 27, that is, on Saturday.

During these holidays, students will rest for 14 days, that is, until January 10, 2026. Since January 11 falls on Sunday, classes in the third quarter will begin on January 12.

This holiday provides students with a good opportunity to fully rest and prepare for the new academic year.
