In the area of the pass, as a result of heavy snowfall since yesterday evening, the snow cover reached knee-deep. For this very reason, a very dangerous situation has now arisen for traffic, and it was announced that the PEREVAL is temporarily and completely closed. It is not yet clear when it will open.

Experts emphasize that, first and foremost, human life and safety are paramount. Currently, with the involvement of special equipment, work is underway to clear the roads of snow and remove ice.

Citizens are advised not to travel yet and to follow official information without wasting time. The pass is closed for now - be careful!
