According to the Ministry of Energy, the gas turbine rotor at the Syrdarya TPP is being replaced with a new one. Due to this large volume of technical work, part of the station will be under repair for at least a month. This, in turn, has a certain impact on the total electricity production capacity.
In addition, due to the shortening of days during the winter season, the volume of electricity production by solar power plants has significantly decreased. Therefore, the load on the common network is increasing.
The government and relevant agencies are warning the population that there may be short-term outages between 17:00-21:00 in order to maintain the balance between consumption and production throughout the country.
Residents were also asked to use electricity economically, monitor special announcements, and not worry if there are interruptions.
