On 11–13 December 2025, the President of the Republic of Paraguay Santiago Peña will arrive in the Republic of Uzbekistan on an official visit.
Within the framework of the visit, high-level negotiations are planned to be held in Tashkent. The talks will discuss opportunities for further developing cooperation between Uzbekistan and Paraguay in political, trade-economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres.
The meetings are expected to pay special attention to establishing practical partnership in agriculture, food and chemical industries, digitalization, tourism and sports.
The Paraguayan leader will also participate in the General Assembly of the International Automobile Federation and in the award ceremony for the winners of competitions held under the federation’s auspices.
This visit is of great importance for elevating mutually beneficial relations between Uzbekistan and Paraguay to a new stage and for determining priority areas of bilateral cooperation.
