Uzbekistan youth take first place at Dubai Para Asian Games
At the 5th Youth Para Asian Games in Dubai, the Uzbekistan delegation achieved a historic result. The delegation was welcomed with a ceremony in the country.

Uzbek youth para athletes won a total of 197 medals: 99 gold, 57 silver, and 41 bronze. With this result, Uzbekistan ranked first among 35 countries overall.

The delegation participated in para athletics, para taekwondo, boccia, para swimming, para arm wrestling, and para powerlifting.

For reference: at the 4th Para Asian Games in Bahrain in 2021, Uzbekistan athletes won 16 medals and ranked 6th overall.
