In order to modernize public transport and improve the quality of public services in the city of Nukus, the first electric buses were brought from China. A total of 12 electric buses were delivered to the city at the expense of 24 billion soums.
It is noted that in accordance with the instructions of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, it is planned to bring a total of 200 buses to the city of Nukus. Currently, the enterprises are taking the necessary measures for the phased delivery of these special vehicles.
At the same time, the Sapsan Trans Nukus enterprise is also working on strengthening the city's transport infrastructure. The company is carrying out work on the construction of a bus depot with a capacity of 200 buses in Nukus.
Overall, the arrival of electric buses is expected to increase the share of environmentally friendly transport in Nukus, streamline traffic, and enhance passenger convenience.
