New warning from the Embassy: Information on the Israeli-Egyptian border has been released

The Embassy of Uzbekistan in Israel issued another official warning.

According to the embassy, the "Begin" ("Taba") border crossing point, located between Israel and Egypt, is currently operating around the clock.

It is noted that for citizens of Uzbekistan who have valid and valid documents, a visa is not required to enter the territory of the Sinai Peninsula.

At the same time, in order to avoid excessive queues and delays during the border crossing process, it is strongly recommended to pay border fees online in advance.

According to the Embassy, the use of the remaining land border crossing points is not currently considered acceptable due to the security situation.

In addition, it is said that there may be short-term changes in the operating procedures of checkpoints on the Israeli-Egyptian border. Therefore, citizens were advised to verify the latest and most relevant information from official sources before planning a trip.
