Repatriation flights from Jeddah to Tashkent will be organized for Uzbek citizens on Umrah

Special repatriation flights will be launched to repatriate Uzbek citizens who have gone on Umrah pilgrimage. This was officially announced by the press service of Uzbekistan Airways.
It was reported that, based on the instructions of Uzbekistan's aviation authorities, all airlines operating in the country have been instructed to temporarily suspend the transportation of pilgrims to Saudi Arabia under the Umrah program until the next official announcement. This restriction also applies to Uzbekistan Airways flights between Jeddah and Tashkent.
According to the airline, starting from March 2, 2026, repatriation flights will be organized on the Jeddah - Tashkent route to gradually return citizens of Uzbekistan who have traveled to Saudi Arabia on Uzbekistan Airways flights as part of the Umrah program.
It is noted that these flights are aimed at the safe and planned return of pilgrims left abroad to their homeland, and the flight schedule and additional information will be announced by the airline later
