At the event, our President emphasized that creating an intolerant environment against cases of pressure and violence towards women and children in society is a strategic task. The Head of State announced the signing of a new decree, noting that the fight against violence will now be carried out based on a strict system.
Special attention was also paid to the issue of reintegrating women who have committed crimes for various reasons into social life. Considering that many convicted women lack professional skills, a special «New Life» program will be launched for them. Within the framework of this program, women will be trained in a profession for 3 to 6 months and receive relevant certificates.
Furthermore, women held in correctional facilities will be given the opportunity to receive higher education. They will be able to take exams within the institution and study through distance learning. To cover tuition fees, it is planned to provide interest-free loans to convicted women, with the condition of repayment after serving their sentence and finding employment. These measures will serve to reshape women as full members of society.
