Today, May 7, adverse weather conditions are expected in some regions of Uzbekistan. This was reported by Uzhydromet.
According to the forecasters, wind speeds in the Republic of Karakalpakstan, Khorezm region, and parts of the Navoi region will increase to 13–18 meters per second. Dust storms may occur in some areas.
Experts urge citizens to take precautions during such weather conditions. In particular, those with respiratory issues are advised to avoid spending long periods outdoors.
There is also a possibility of tree branches breaking or damage to light structures due to strong winds. Drivers are advised to be vigilant on the roads, and pedestrians are urged to follow safety rules.
Forecasters note that the dusty weather may be short-lived, but visibility will temporarily deteriorate in some areas.
