What temperature awaits Uzbekistan on May 15?

On Friday, May 15, dry and warm weather will persist across Uzbekistan. According to Uzhydromet, no precipitation is expected nationwide, though strong winds and dust storms are possible in some areas.

In Tashkent, the weather will be variable with a low probability of rain. Winds will blow from the east at 3-8 m/s. Temperatures will range from 16-18°C at night to 32-34°C during the day.

Dry weather will also prevail in the Republic of Karakalpakstan and Khorezm region. In some places, wind speeds may reach 20-22 m/s, potentially causing dust storms. Daytime temperatures will reach 30-35°C.

Bukhara and Navoi regions will experience even hotter weather, with temperatures expected to rise to 37°C in some areas. Strong winds and dust storms are also possible.

Tashkent, Syrdarya, Jizzakh, and Samarkand regions will also see dry weather. Daytime temperatures will reach 30-35°C.

Kashkadarya and Surkhandarya regions may experience some of the highest temperatures, with forecasts predicting up to 37°C during the day.

The Fergana Valley—Andijan, Namangan, and Fergana regions—will also remain dry, with daytime temperatures ranging between 30-35°C.

In the foothills and mountainous areas of the republic, short-term rain and thunderstorms are possible in some places. Daytime temperatures will be around 20-25°C.

Experts have warned of a risk of flash floods in the foothills and mountainous areas from May 15-22. Residents are advised to exercise caution.
