Uzbek snipers win gold medal at international competition

The Uzbekistan Ministry of Defense team took first place at the 6th International "Best Sniper Team" competition held in Turkey. The event took place from May 10 to 21 at the "Kommandos" mountain training center in Isparta.

24 teams from 13 countries participated in the competition. Military personnel from Uzbekistan, Turkey, Turkmenistan, Pakistan, Kosovo, Azerbaijan, Italy, and other nations competed in various complex challenges.

Participants demonstrated their skills in tests such as "Combat Shooting," "High-Precision Shooting," "Night Shooting at Unknown Distances," and "Shooting from a Helicopter."

In the final stage, the Uzbek snipers completed their tasks ahead of schedule with high precision and speed. As a result, the team secured first place among foreign armies and was awarded a gold medal.

The Uzbekistan team has become the champion in this competition for three consecutive years: 2024, 2025, and 2026. This result once again demonstrates the high level of preparation and combat skills of our military.
