Salaries to be paid by May 27: a reminder to employers

In accordance with labor legislation, if the payday falls on a weekend or holiday, employee salaries must be paid in advance.
Therefore, it is emphasized that employers must pay salaries by May 27 due to the upcoming Eid al-Adha holiday.
According to the law, this requirement is aimed at protecting employees' rights, and salary delays are not permitted.
If an employer fails to make the payment by the specified deadline, they are obligated to pay compensation for each day of delay. This is clearly defined in Articles 253 and 333 of the Labor Code.
Experts believe that this procedure serves to ensure the financial stability of employees and prevent unnecessary difficulties before the holiday.
