According to forecasts by World Meteorological Organization experts, the average temperature on Earth could reach record levels between 2026 and 2030. Scientists estimate that 2027, in particular, is highly likely to be the hottest year in recorded history.
It is noted that global climate change, the increase of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere, and changes in natural processes are causing a sharp rise in temperatures. Experts believe that the heat waves, droughts, and forest fires observed in recent years are clear signs of this process.
According to scientists, the average global temperature has already approached 1.5 degrees above pre-industrial levels. This could lead to rapid melting of glaciers, rising sea levels, and an increase in extreme weather events in some regions.
