Zelensky: "Putin will die soon and everything will be over"
Russian President Vladimir Putin will die soon, which means the end of the war. Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky made this statement in an interview with Eurovision News.

Zelensky spoke about his Russian counterpart's fears.

- "He is afraid of the destabilization of his society. But no one can influence this. He himself influences this, with his economy, sanctions policy, and the inability to control and protect all of his territories. If our partners show their full strength, the combination of various forces will give this an even greater impetus. If pressure is put on Putin, he is afraid of the destabilization of his society. That is, Putin is afraid of this," the Ukrainian leader said.

According to him, another thing that the Russian leader fears is losing his power.

- "It depends on both the stability of society and his age. He will die soon, that's for sure, and everything will be over. That is, his fate may be decided before he ends his completely safe and unsuccessful historical life. He is also afraid of being left alone. It was not possible to completely isolate Putin politically. I am younger than Putin. Believe me. My prospects are better," the Ukrainian president emphasized.

He noted that despite attempts to isolate the Kremlin, some countries of the Global South continue to communicate with him. The Ukrainian president also explained his goal by saying that "I want my children to walk freely on the streets, not to hide, and to be treated with dignity."

Zelensky did not explain why he believed that the 72-year-old Putin would die "soon," and journalists did not ask him again. Judging by the general content of the conversation and the place of this phrase in it, it can be assumed that Zelensky was not referring to the immediate future.
