Another series of bloody attacks against the Palestinian population was carried out in the Gaza Strip. According to information distributed by Al Jazeera TV channel, at least 23 Palestinians were killed as a result of shootings and airstrikes conducted by Israeli forces on June 15. Of these, 11 people were killed while receiving food at aid distribution points managed by the Gaza Humanitarian Fund (GHF).
One of the most serious crimes occurred near the Al Awda hospital in central Gaza. According to doctors, when people gathered near GHF facilities to receive assistance, shootings started by Israeli snipers and soldiers. At least 3 people died there, and dozens of civilians were seriously injured.
The situation remains tense at the aid point in the Mawasi district of Rafah city. During new shootings carried out by the Israeli side, 2 Palestinians were killed and more than 50 were taken to the hospital with various injuries. Aid is being provided to the wounded at the Red Crescent hospital.
On the same day, as a result of several airstrikes organized by Israeli aviation, at least 12 people were killed in southern Gaza, and 7 more civilians died in Beit Lahia in the north.
According to Al Jazeera sources, the aid distribution points organized by the Gaza Humanitarian Fund are now being regarded by civilians as "fields of execution" because people in these areas are repeatedly attacked. While food is being distributed, they are under fire.
On Saturday, at least 79 Palestinians lost their lives. Most of them were in dire conditions and in need of help. This was reported by doctors from the Al Awda and Al Aqsa hospitals. They confirmed that Israeli soldiers fired at people who tried to approach the aid distribution point near the Netzarim corridor.
Despite the tense situation, the Israeli military has not yet given any official comments on these incidents. This further increases the sense of hatred and rebellion among the Palestinians.
It should be noted that at the end of May, after Israel partially lifted the blockade on vital goods such as food and medicine, the GHF resumed its activities. However, even humanitarian aid distribution has become unsafe, leading to new tragedies for the Palestinians.
According to official data from the Gaza Ministry of Health, since May at least 274 Palestinians have been killed and more than 2,000 have been injured in the course of humanitarian aid distribution.
The situation in Gaza shows that the humanitarian crisis is deepening further, and the tragedies behind the military actions must attract the attention of the global community. Read 'Zamin' on Telegram!
