Honored Scientist of the Russian Federation, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, and Honorary Professor of Saint Petersburg State University of Economics, Evgenia Tonkonogaya, is marking a double celebration this year — she has turned 100 years old and is also celebrating 80 years of pedagogical activity.
Evgenia Tonkonogaya devoted her entire life to the field of education and upbringing, contributing to the development of thousands of students. Her dedication to knowledge, work aimed at the development of human capital, and devotion in mentorship have always been highly recognized.
As recognition of her service, she was awarded honorary certificates from the Ministries of Public Education of the USSR, Belarus, and Tajikistan, the badge “Excellence in Public Education,” as well as the medal “Veteran of Labor.” These awards highlight the immense contribution and lifelong service of Evgenia Tonkonogaya to the field of education.
