Military aid was delivered to Ukraine based on the PURL (Prioritized Ukraine Requirements List) program, a list of priority needs prepared within the framework of the US-NATO initiative. This was reported to RBK-Ukraine by a NATO representative.
According to him, so far, four packages have been financed within the framework of this program. It was noted that some equipment from the first aid shipments has already been delivered to Ukraine, and many more vehicles are currently on the way.
Earlier, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced that the PURL program's initial aid packages would include missiles for the Patriot air defense system and the HIMARS multiple launch vehicle.
Thus, the new military aid directed at Kyiv will not only strengthen the defense capabilities of the Ukrainian army, but also once again demonstrate the support policy of NATO and the USA in the current situation.
