Gil Lee Won first applied for plastic surgery in 2010. She said that at that time, while preparing for university, she had gained weight and was deeply hurt by the ridicule of those around her, as well as the criticism of her beloved. "I lost confidence in myself after people kept talking about my appearance," he said.
After that, Gil began cosmetic operations to dispel his dissatisfaction and never returned. He performed forehead oil transfer, nose and chin plastic surgery, double eyelid surgery, facial contour correction, liposuction, and various dermatological procedures.
"In 15 years, I have undergone about 400 treatments. They gradually accumulated over time. Each one gave me new confidence," Gil said.
According to the woman, she sometimes thought about excessive interventions on her body, but doctors told her that excessive surgeries were dangerous. For this reason, he is satisfied with his current appearance and regularly undergoes examinations by a dermatologist to maintain it.
"I don't regret plastic surgery. This gave me a new life, a new faith, and a new identity," said Gil Lee Won.
South Korea is one of the leading countries in the world in terms of the number of plastic surgeries - according to statistics, every third woman undergoes a cosmetic operation at least once in her life.
