
The “I Want to Live” project has published information about foreign mercenaries in the Russian army. According to the Ukrainian project's report, 481 Uzbek citizens have been killed or gone missing in the war in Ukraine.
In total, at least 2,715 Uzbeks are serving in the ranks of the Russian army. Uzbeks occupy the leading position among foreigners serving in the Russian army.
