A tragic incident occurred in the Losino-Petrovsky district of the Moscow region - a worker died after falling from a height at a construction site. This was reported by the press service of the Prosecutor's Office of the Moscow region.
According to preliminary information, the incident occurred in one of the buildings under construction in the "Biocombinat" settlement. The worker lost his balance during the bricklaying process and fell down from the 12th floor. Unfortunately, he died at the scene from his injuries.
It turned out that serious shortcomings in compliance with safety regulations may have been observed at the construction site. Currently, the Prosecutor's Office of the city of Shchelkovo is checking the compliance with the requirements of current legislation on labor protection and working conditions.
Experts note that in recent years, due to the weakening of attention to occupational safety regulations in the construction sector, the number of such accidents is increasing. Every worker should be provided with personal protective equipment, and safety control at workplaces should be strengthened.
Authorities have launched an investigation to determine the causes of the incident and bring the perpetrators to justice.
