On November 10, the Sun's surface experienced the strongest and most energetic flare of the year. This was reported by the Solar Astronomy Laboratory of the Space Research Institute under the Russian Academy of Sciences.
Scientists noted that this explosion had an energy level of X5.1, which later reached X5.15. This is the highest activity recorded since October 2024.
According to experts, the explosion was recorded in the active zone under number 4274. This region is located where it can currently influence the Earth. Therefore, it is possible that as a result of this explosion, noise in radio waves, interruptions in satellite communication, or magnetic storms are activated.
Online graphs of X-ray radiation emitted from the Sun constantly record this process. Scientists noted that the phenomenon is not yet fully completed, and the active process is gradually slowing down.
It should be recalled that in October of this year, solar activity also increased sharply, and several high-level flares also occurred at that time. Experts note that these processes may indicate that they are approaching the "height of the solar cycle" expected in 2025.
