A video filmed in Dubai has quickly gone viral on social media: in it, a female blogger shows a shop with a very distinctive assortment and jokingly labels it “Uzbek style.” According to the author, the chances of coming across such a store in Dubai are very low, but not zero—she was referring to a scene reminiscent of the “luxury/bling” aesthetic. This was reported by upl.uzreports.
The video shows tongue-in-cheek “parodies” in the style of famous brands on the shelves: various bags and shoes are completely covered with rhinestones, stones, and shiny embellishments. Laughing at what she sees, the blogger says the level of sparkle is blinding; the camera captures shoes with acid-green heels, heavily decorated models, oversized platform sandals with leopard print, and fluffy, fur-like house slippers.
Throughout the clip, the author doesn’t hide her emotions, expressing surprise with sharp remarks, and in the end calls the place “a nightmare for all stylists.” Under the video, many users started debating the shop’s taste and design.
