Pakistan launches open war against Taliban in Afghanistan

Pakistan launched night airstrikes on Kabul and Kandahar, the BBC reported. According to the report, the attacks took place on the night of February 27th.
According to the press secretary of the Prime Minister of Pakistan, Mosharraf Zaydi, 27 Taliban military posts have been destroyed so far, and nine have been seized. He also stated that more than 80 tanks, artillery, and armed vehicles were destroyed.
According to Zaydi, 133 Taliban members were killed and more than 200 were injured. "Pakistan continues to respond promptly and effectively to the aggression," he said.
Pakistan's Defense Minister, Havaja Asif, has declared an "open war" against the Taliban government. He emphasized that Pakistan had tried to maintain stability through diplomatic means, but now relations have transitioned to the stage of "open war."
