Against the backdrop of tensions in the Middle East, information is spreading that the US Air Force has suffered serious losses. According to sources, as a result of various attacks and technical incidents, a number of aircraft were disabled or completely destroyed.
It is reported that one of the modern fighter jets - the F-35 - was damaged by the Iranian air defense system. It is also reported that three F-15s were shot down by Kuwaiti forces as a result of friendly fire.
In addition, one KC-135 refueling aircraft was completely destroyed due to an air collision. Another 6 KC-135 aircraft were damaged as a result of strikes by Iran.
Unmanned aerial vehicles also suffered significant losses. In particular, 12 MQ-9 Reaper drones were reportedly destroyed by the Iranian air defense.
At the same time, 1 UH-60 military helicopter was damaged as a result of a drone attack.
Experts note that such losses indicate an increase in the scale and danger of military operations. This suggests that the situation in the region may further escalate.
