A historic milestone has been reached in the construction of the «Jeddah Tower», expected to be the tallest building in the world. The 100th-floor milestone achieved
The famous skyscraper rising on the shores of the Red Sea — «Jeddah Tower» — has officially reached the 100th-floor mark. This result, recorded on April 14, 2026, demonstrates the rapid pace at which the project is progressing.
Now, visions of the world's first structure reaching a height of one kilometer are no longer just plans, but a reality unfolding before our eyes. According to data, the tower currently stands at 402 meters, but hundreds of meters still remain ahead.
The return of a paused dream
Previously known as «Kingdom Tower», this project was halted in 2018 for certain reasons. However, from January 2025, construction work resumed at full capacity.
The project authors are the renowned architectural firm «Adrian Smith + Gordon Gill». As a reminder, this creative team consists of the specialists who designed the world's current tallest building — the «Burj Khalifa» in Dubai.
Final goal — 2028
«Jeddah Tower» is not just a building, but the heart of the massive «Jeddah Economic City» complex. This project aims to turn Saudi Arabia into a major global business and tourism hub.
