During an official meeting attended by the President of Kyrgyzstan, Sadyr Japarov, an unusual situation became the center of discussion. During the meeting, the grandmother of a boy named “Ismoilov Abdulloh” addressed the head of state.
According to the grandmother, her grandson accidentally liked a video and as a result was sentenced to 1 year and 7 months in prison.
After hearing the appeal, President Sadyr Japarov did not remain indifferent and immediately instructed the Prosecutor General present at the meeting.
“First, verify what the grandmother said. If he was really jailed only for one ‘like’, release him immediately. If there is another reason, let the law handle it,” the president said.
This instruction attracted great attention both among meeting participants and in social discussions.
At present, all details of the case are under official investigation.
