According to a report by the British publication The Mirror, U.S. President Donald Trump may have attempted to use "nuclear codes" during an emergency meeting held at the White House. This information was provided by retired CIA analyst Larry Johnson.
According to him, the incident occurred against a backdrop of a tense situation, and Trump attempted to access codes related to the nuclear arsenal during a strategic decision-making process. However, representatives of the military establishment reportedly prevented this from happening.
Specifically, it is reported that General Dan Kane, a representative of the U.S. Armed Forces leadership, intervened in the situation and halted the attempt by reminding him of existing protocols and the scope of presidential authority.
