In Boston, USA, a 40-year-old father of two died following a tragic escalator accident. Reports indicate that on February 27, the man fell while descending an escalator at a subway station, and his clothing became caught in the mechanism, resulting in severe injuries.
Footage of the incident was recently released, showing people passing by without immediately offering help. He remained trapped on the escalator for nearly half an hour. Eventually, a transit employee stopped the escalator and called for an ambulance. The man spent ten days in a coma before succumbing to his injuries.
Social media users are expressing the opinion that if people had not been indifferent and had provided timely assistance, the man might have survived.
