Hyundai, in collaboration with TVS, has unveiled two electric rickshaw concepts designed for efficient transportation through India's crowded streets. These vehicles incorporate key technological features of the traditional rickshaws widely used across the country.
E3W and E4W Electric Rickshaws
The prototypes are named E3W and E4W. Their side panels are equipped with handles to facilitate easy entry, while retractable steps allow passengers to access the upper luggage compartment. Additionally, slanted windshields provide an expanded field of vision for drivers.

Hyundai has used recycled materials for the exterior panels, simplifying production and reducing maintenance costs in the long run.
Details about the engine and battery remain undisclosed. However, the price of the E3W model is expected to be in line with current electric rickshaw offerings. For reference, the King EV Max, priced at $3,410, offers a range of 179 km and a top speed of 60 km/h. Follow “Zamin” news on “Telegram”
