Lanzante has announced a new hypercar inspired by its historic victory at the 1995 24 Hours of Le Mans, reported DK Engineering.
The project, currently named Project 95-59, pays homage to Lanzante’s legendary win in 1995 with the McLaren F1 GTR. That year, their car finished first, beating the Courage C34 prototype by an entire lap.
Project 95-59 will feature a three-seat layout and a spacious luggage compartment. Additionally, it will boast a power-to-weight ratio of 700 horsepower per ton, surpassing the McLaren Speedtail.
The car's design is being developed by Paul Howse, the mastermind behind the McLaren P1, 720S, and Artura. Lanzante is known for its meticulous focus on aerodynamics, weight reduction, and cooling enhancements. More details on this project are expected in the coming weeks.
