Chevrolet has unveiled refreshed versions of the Onix and Onix Plus models in Brazil, reported Kolesa.
Both the hatchback and sedan variants received slight exterior updates, including a redesigned front bumper and grille. The sedan now features clear tail lights, while the hatchback gets a revised rear design.
The Chevrolet Onix RS version includes a large spoiler, black emblem, and 16-inch wheels. Its infotainment system has been upgraded with an 11-inch touchscreen.
Higher trims feature an 8-inch digital display, air conditioning, rearview camera, and parking assistance. The RS version also supports wireless phone charging.
The cars come with naturally aspirated and turbocharged engines, updated to meet modern environmental standards. Power output ranges from 80–82 hp for naturally aspirated engines and 116–121 hp for turbocharged ones.
Sales of the updated Onix and Onix Plus will begin soon in Brazil, with plans to expand to other Latin American markets.
The Onix sedan is also produced in Uzbekistan. Since the beginning of the year, 7,000 units have been sold. The refreshed versions may also enter the Uzbek market.
