Over 212 thousand cars produced in Uzbekistan in 7 months

The automotive industry of Uzbekistan continues to grow rapidly this year. According to the latest data published by the State Statistics Committee, a total of 212,156 passenger vehicles (excluding special light vehicles) were produced in the country during the period from January to July 2025.

This figure demonstrates not only the efficiency of the industry but also once again confirms the high level of demand in the domestic market.

Breakdown by models

According to the report, the most produced model was the Cobalt — 83,167 units. It was followed by the traditionally popular Damas — 51,587 units.

The modern crossover Tracker ranked third with 26,385 units. Other contributors included Onix (18,734), KIA (14,419), and among foreign brands gaining ground in the local market — BYD (8,601), Chery (4,838), and Haval (4,425).

Naturally, special light vehicles also had their share, with 28,951 units produced during the reporting period.

Significance for the car market

Experts note that these indicators show the stable development of the country's automotive sector. Along with meeting domestic demand, another key goal is to increase export volumes.

At the same time, the entry of new brands is strengthening competition, which is expected to further improve quality and service standards.

Thus, the 7-month results show that Uzbekistan's automobile industry not only meets local demand but also has the potential to take a worthy place in the international arena.
