Tesla electric vehicles calculated to be 70 percent cheaper than fuel engine cars
In brief

Tesla has highlighted the significant cost advantage of its electric vehicles (EVs) compared to internal combustion engine (ICE) cars, stating that operating a modern Tesla is approximately 70% cheaper for the same distance traveled. This cost efficiency stems from the higher energy efficiency of EVs, which utilize about 85-90% of battery energy for movement, while ICE vehicles convert only 20-30% of fuel energy into motion, losing the rest as heat. As a result, Tesla's electric cars not only reduce energy consumption but also lower overall expenses for vehicle owners.

Tesla has reminded of the main advantage of its electric vehicles. It was noted that their energy efficiency is much higher than that of internal combustion engine cars. Ixbt.com reports on this.

According to the company's calculations, using a modern Tesla electric vehicle is approximately 70 percent cheaper than a fuel car covering the same distance.

The main reason for this is the sharp difference in the coefficient of efficiency. Internal combustion engines convert only 20-30 percent of fuel energy into motion, while the rest is lost in the form of heat.

Electric vehicles, on the other hand, use battery energy much more efficiently. About 85-90 percent of the energy is spent directly on movement.

As a result, significantly less energy is required to cover the same distance. This reduces the vehicle owner's costs and increases overall savings.
