Three-time world chess champion Bibisora Assubayeva has decided to perfectly learn the Kazakh language. The 22-year-old athlete announced this on her Telegram channel.
Assubayeva has previously been criticized several times for not responding in the Kazakh language during her interviews and official appearances. Following this, the chess player promised to change the situation and learn the language.
According to the athlete, she has already scheduled her first trial lesson with a new teacher.
“A situation where words have turned into action,” said Bibisora Assubayeva.
