Income from the Sun: Uzbekistanis Earned 74 Billion UZS

In Uzbekistan, the transition to "green" energy is becoming not only a way to protect nature but also a significant additional source of income for the population. Over the first three months of this year, thousands of our fellow citizens earned substantial funds by selling electricity generated by solar panels installed in their homes to the state. Zamin.uz provides detailed information about the positive indicators in this sector and the advantages of the new system.
The Benefit: Over 45,000 "Solar Entrepreneurs"
Energy supplied to the state grid
According to the results of the first quarter of this year, across our country, 45,200 citizens supplied surplus electricity from their home solar photovoltaic stations to the unified energy system. In return, the state paid the population a total of 73.98 billion UZS in subsidies and payments.
Regional Leader: Bukhara Takes the Lead
Among the regions, the population of the Bukhara region recorded the highest performance in selling energy. For the "green" energy supplied to the grid by Bukhara residents, a total of 16.53 billion UZS was paid out. This demonstrates a high level of interest in solar panels and effective utilization of sunny days in this region.
Opportunity for Self-Sufficiency and Profit
This state-implemented program offers homeowners two important opportunities simultaneously:
Energy Independence: Providing the home with free and stable electricity;
Guaranteed Income: Selling excess energy produced beyond one's own needs to the state and receiving a guaranteed payment for every kilowatt.
This system has become a modern and eco-friendly way to reduce household utility expenses while bringing additional funds to the family budget.
