A citizen was caught in Jizzakh who tried to get 200 million soums by saying “I will send you to work in America”
A person who demanded a large sum of money under the pretext of sending citizens to work abroad was detained in the Jizzakh region. The regional Department of Internal Affairs officially reported this.

It is known that a person named N.B.K., a resident of Sharof Rashidov district, promised to place A.A.D., a resident of Zarbdor district, in the United States through Mexico for a job. For this "service", he demanded 200 million soums. The amount included 11,200 US dollars and 50 million soums in cash.

N.B.K. was detained by law enforcement agencies along with evidence when he received this money.

Currently, a pre-investigation investigation is underway into this case. According to the law, such actions may result in criminal liability.

Increasing number of fake “job postings” in recent times

In recent years, the hope of earning a quick and easy income by working abroad has increased among the population. This is becoming a means of profit for some individuals. There are more and more cases of promises of job postings through various “intermediaries”, agencies or personal connections.

Law enforcement agencies are urging the population not to fall for such false promises and to go to work only through official channels.

The Zamin.uz editorial office appeals: if you are also offered a job abroad by suspicious individuals and demand a large amount of money, contact the relevant authorities. Your family’s wealth and safety are the top priorities.
