The New Season of the “Initiative Budget” Begins

In Uzbekistan, the second season of 2025 for the “Initiative Budget” process, which is shaped based on citizens’ opinions, officially starts on July 15. This season will last until August 31.

Through this initiative, citizens can submit their projects to solve pressing issues in their neighborhoods and later vote for them. The winning projects will be funded from the state budget.

The main stages of the season are defined as follows:

- Project submission: July 15 – August 3;
- Project selection: August 4 – 18;
- Promotional campaign: August 19 – 21;
- Voting process: August 22 – 31.

The winning projects that receive the most votes will be announced on September 1 — Independence Day.
