In Angren, an investigator was detained with a $10,000 bribe

It became known that the senior investigator of the investigative department under the Angren city DIA demanded 10 thousand US dollars in exchange for not initiating a criminal case against the citizen and not taking appropriate measures during the pre-investigation check in his proceedings.

During an operational event conducted by the State Security Service, the Department under the Prosecutor General's Office, and the Main Department of Personal Security of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, he was caught red-handed while receiving half of the requested amount - $5,000.

According to official information, a criminal case has been initiated against the investigator under Article 210, Part 2, Clause "b" of the Criminal Code, and a preventive measure of "detention" has been applied against him.

It is noted that investigative actions are currently underway, and additional circumstances are being investigated within the framework of the case.
