24-hour communal headquarters started operating in Tashkent

A special city working group has begun operations in Uzbekistan’s capital to ensure the stable functioning of key life support systems during the 2025/2026 autumn-winter season. This was reported by the city administration’s press service.

The main task of this structure is to continuously monitor and promptly address issues in the supply of heat energy, drinking water, natural gas, and electricity. Furthermore, the headquarters’ activities cover not only residential areas but also social facilities and enterprises from various sectors of the economy.

Specialists of the working group will monitor the preparedness of infrastructure for high loads under low temperature conditions and take necessary measures to prevent emergency situations. Special attention is given to handling appeals from citizens.

To establish effective communication with the public and quickly resolve emerging problems, a multi-channel communication system has been set up. In case of interruptions in utility services, citizens can call the short number 1055 or the telephone number 71 210-02-62.

In addition, there is an opportunity to submit electronic appeals through the “Public Control” portal, which has proven to be an effective tool for the public’s interaction with utility services. Creating such an operational center is part of the systematic preparation of the city’s infrastructure for the winter season, aimed at minimizing risks and ensuring comfortable conditions for Tashkent residents.

For information, the first centralized heating system in Tashkent was launched in the 1950s, and since then, the city’s heating network has expanded by hundreds of kilometers, becoming one of the largest networks in Central Asia.
