A child was electrocuted in a kindergarten in Fergana: official information

According to reports circulating on social media, a child in a preschool in Fergana city faced electric shock due to the irresponsibility of the teachers.
The situation is under the control of the Children's Ombudsman.
It became known that on February 18, R.A. (a boy born in 2020), a pupil of a kindergarten in Fergana, fell from the upper window of a special basement where transformers are installed on the territory of the institution and was injured as a result of a high electric shock and was taken to the hospital.
A forensic medical examination has been ordered regarding the child's injuries. The Investigative Department of the Fergana City Department of Internal Affairs is conducting a pre-trial investigation into the incident.
The Children's Ombudsman continues to monitor and supervise the protection of the child's legal interests.
