A 17-year-old boy who climbed onto a wagon to take a selfie was electrocuted

A tragic and heartbreaking incident occurred on April 1 in the city of Chirchik, Tashkent region. A 17-year-old teenager is in critical condition after being electrocuted on top of train wagons.
According to reports, the boy, born in 2009, climbed onto one of the wagons standing at the Bozsu railway station with his friends. They planned to take photos from a height, i.e., selfies.
At that moment, a strong electric discharge occurred due to a high-voltage power line above the railway. As a result, the teenager was electrocuted.
Doctors stated that the high voltage caused an electric arc flash, resulting in severe burn injuries, and the boy fell to the ground.
Examinations showed that approximately 80–85% of his body was burned. He was urgently admitted to the intensive care unit.
Currently, his condition is assessed as extremely critical. He is receiving intensive treatment and remains under constant medical supervision.
