A road traffic accident involving school students in the Navoiy region has ended in tragedy. This was reported by the Road Safety Department.
According to the data, the incident occurred in the Malik neighborhood of the Karmana district on April 22 at approximately 9:00 PM. It is noted that a Cobalt passenger car was being driven by a school student.
There were two students from secondary school No. 22 inside the vehicle. During the movement, the driver lost control of the vehicle, and as a result, the car veered off the road.
As a result of the traffic accident, a 9th-grade student sustained severe injuries and died in the hospital. An 11th-grade student was hospitalized with various physical injuries.
Relevant authorities are currently conducting an investigation into the incident. Experts once again remind the public of the serious risks associated with minors operating motor vehicles.
