Saida Mirziyoeva, head of the presidential administration, visited theaters in Tashkent to assess their operations and address ongoing issues. During her visit, she acknowledged the achievements in the cultural sector but highlighted the inadequate conditions of many theater buildings, which require significant state support and capital repairs. She emphasized that improving the facilities would enhance the creative processes and attract more audiences with new and relevant performances. Additionally, she mentioned the digitization of rare manuscripts at the Alisher Navoi State Literature Museum and stated that responsible individuals have been appointed to oversee funding issues, which she is personally monitoring.
Head of the Presidential Administration Saida Mirziyoyeva visited Tashkent theaters to familiarize herself with the activities of cultural institutions in the capital. During the visit, along with achievements in the field, she openly addressed long-standing unresolved issues.

As Mirziyoyeva noted via her official channel, Tashkent theaters have always been centers of creative life. However, today the material and technical condition of many theater buildings is inadequate, and there is a serious need for state support.

As part of the visit, the buildings of the Muqimiy Academic Theater, the Youth Theater, and the "Arena" dormitory were inspected. It was noted that these facilities have been in need of major repairs for a long time.
"We inspected three theaters in the capital. The buildings of the Muqimiy Academic Theater, the Youth Theater, and the 'Arena' dormitory have been in a state requiring serious repair for a long time," said the Head of the Administration.

As the Head of the Administration emphasized, creative processes will only intensify if proper conditions are created in theaters. New repertoires will be formed, plays on modern and relevant topics will be staged, and audience interest will increase further.
"Only if we create all the conditions will repertoires be updated, and plays on relevant topics that resonate with the audience will be staged," Mirziyoyeva wrote on her Telegram channel.

At the same time, special attention is being paid to the preservation and popularization of cultural heritage. In particular, it was noted that work is underway to digitize rare manuscripts at the Alisher Navoiy State Museum of Literature.

Mirziyoyeva stated that responsible persons have been appointed to resolve issues related to financing and emphasized that she has personally taken control of this process.
“Responsible persons have been appointed to resolve financing issues. I have personally taken control of the situation,” said the Head of the Administration.
In short, changes in the cultural sphere are connected not only with ideas but also with real conditions. If these issues are resolved promptly, it is certain that the capital's theaters will become more vibrant and reach a new level.
