We are pleased to share the good news from our young athletes from the United Arab Emirates. The Uzbek national team achieved another great success at the WT World Taekwondo Championship among cadets in Fujairah, UAE. In the decisive and uncompromising competitions, our compatriots won another gold and one bronze medal, once again raising the flag of our country.

In particular, Nikita Bibikov, who competed in the -65 kg weight category, defeated his opponents at all stages of the competition and made his way to the final. In the decisive final match, our young athlete defeated his strong Iranian opponent Amir Agamohammadi, and was considered worthy of the gold medal.

Also, Rayhona Asanbayeva, who demonstrated her skills in the -41 kg weight category among girls, achieved high results. She defeated a number of strong opponents during the competition and reached the semifinals. Raykhona, who lost in a difficult semi-final match, was awarded a bronze medal and added another important prize to the Uzbek national team.

During the days of the World Championship so far, the Uzbek national team has won a total of 2 gold and 1 bronze medals, occupying worthy places in the tournament table.
