
Gian Piero Gasperini has been officially appointed as AS Roma's new head coach, reports Euro-Football.ru. The 67-year-old Italian signed a contract with the club until the summer of 2028.
"Welcome to the club, Mister!" — stated the club's official announcement.
Gasperini managed Atalanta from 2016 to 2025, transforming the team into one of Italy's most consistent sides. Under his leadership, Atalanta won the Europa League in 2024 and finished third in Serie A last season. Roma ended the season in fifth place.
