Ancelotti Comments on Neymar's Chances for 2026 World Cup

Famous Italian coach Carlo Ancelotti, head coach of the Brazil national team, has expressed his views on the potential inclusion of Santos forward Neymar in the squad for the 2026 World Cup. "Many players are performing very well, and I have to select those who are 100% ready.

I consider Neymar a very talented player. However, he has been unlucky with injuries, which have prevented him from reaching optimal form," Ancelotti told Esporte Record.

This season, 33-year-old Neymar has played 28 matches for Santos in the Brazilian championship, scoring 8 goals and providing 4 assists. Neymar last played for the Brazil national team in October 2023.
